ReturnToWorkSA (RTWSA) is responsible for insuring and regulating the South Australian Return to Work scheme. They provide insurance that protects South Australian businesses and their workers in the event of a work injury. 

EGM is proud to be partnering with RTWSA to recruit a Manager: IT Operations.

 

This position reports into the Executive Leader Technology Systems and Service and is responsible for the Technology Services and Support infrastructure, databases, application support and change management functions which enables RTWSA to undertake its business needs.

Key Duties:

  • Application Support - Ensure Applications are available and appropriate to enable customers and stakeholders to interact efficiently and effectively with RTWSA

  • Infrastructure Support - Ensure RTWSA has appropriate infrastructure with high levels of availability and security

  • Data and Systems Support - Ensure RTWSA has appropriate database services with high levels of availability and security

  • Service Delivery - Protect TSS environments through maintaining and improving the change management process

  • People Leadership - Provide leadership and direction to a team and foster a team culture of professional excellence, innovation and a strong customer focus

  • Budget and Resource Planning - Responsible for managing and improving work instructions for support of systems including setting and monitoring process parameters to ensure delivery of objectives

About You:

  • Significant experience in managing application lifecycles and managing solutions in the cloud

  • Significant knowledge of service management principles and processes and relevant experience in the practical application of service management processes (ITIL) in the delivery of ICT application services

  • Ability to articulate and provide advice on complex systems and services and ensure these are readily understood by personnel at all levels within an organisation

  • Demonstrate ability to builds strong relationships and work effectively with other business groups within the organisation 

  • Ability to manage day to day delivery of services through third party vendors

  • Experience defining and negotiating contracts and service level agreements

  • Proven experience in leading a successful team with complex and technical systems, including a track record for designing and embedding a team culture focused on professional excellence, innovation and a strong customer focus

  • Experience managing to a set budget with an emphasis on affordability and value of service

  • Ability to review team processes and utilise methods for improvement (eg Lean, six sigma etc)

  • Compliance to TSS Service Delivery Lifecycle processes and procedures
