EGM Partners are working with Adelaide Hills Council to recruit a Director for Environment and Infrastructure.
This role is critical to the smooth operations and leadership of the Council and we are seeking a strategic thinker who has an appetite for change and doing things differently. With an incredibly broad remit this is an exciting opportunity for a financially savvy and highly accountable leader.
YOUR PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and as an integral part of Council’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Director of the Environment and Infrastructure division provides strategic leadership ensuring the effective management of services such as Civil Services, Open Space, Asset Management, Property Services (including Sport and Recreation), Sustainability, and Waste Management. You will lead a professional team focused on delivering high-quality support to the Adelaide Hills Council community. Your role will involve ensuring services are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with statutory obligations, regulations, and Council policies. You will contribute to the overall success of the organisation by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
