Due to exciting growth, we are thrilled to be partnering with X Convenience to recruit two new positions.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and the Senior Financial Accountant this Accountant position will be responsible for:

​

  • Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

  • Revenue Recognition (end of month journals to recognise revenue against different types i.e, fuel, shop, burgers, smokes, carwash)

  • Expense Recognition (wages, rent, stocktake adjustments etc)

  • Government Reporting including ATO (Monthly & Quarterly Business Activity Statements) and ABS (Quarterly Surveys)

  • Accounting for Accruals and Prepayments

  • Fixed Asset Register Maintenance

  • Analysis of Financial Results, including reporting for Senior Management

The Payroll Officer is an integral part of the Finance team and will undertake the following:

​Key responsibilities include:

​

  • End to end weekly payroll for approximately 380 employees using MicrOpay

  • Entering new employees into the system

  • Employment contracts for new employees

  • Monthly Payroll Tax Returns

  • Work Cover insurance paperwork and annual reconciliations

  • Processing and payment of monthly Superannuation

  • Reporting to management on various payroll data – wage costs, overtime etc.

  • Time and attendance data entry through the system Tanda
