We are proud to be partnering with Tonkin in the sourcing of a Project Manager / Engineer who will be responsible for the delivery of sustainable water supply and sewage services for communities across metropolitan and regional Australia.
Key Responsibilities:

Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering to Water Utilities in SA, as well as across western Victoria and Nationally both small and large scale.

Ability to manage budget, timelines and quality outputs for project deliverables to a range of projects to support the delivery of water and wastewater projects.

Represent Tonkin in a Client facing Project Management role on water and wastewater projects with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and outcomes, verbally and in written documentation with the support of technical specialists.

Write proposals to win projects with existing and new clients.

Deliver risk assessment, risk management and quality management functions, ensuring compliance with all current statutory requirements, engineering and contract standards.

Contribute to growing the Water team’s knowledge through knowledge transfer activities, and mentoring that builds individual, team and organisational capability.
Your background:

Degree qualification in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering .

5+ years of experience in water and wastewater projects

Strong working knowledge of current statutory requirements, engineering and contract standards.

AIPM or Chartered Engineering Status (CPEng) or eligibility for other state-based registration schemes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
