SEA Gas owns and operates the gas transmission system transporting natural gas from the Otway and Bass Basins to customers in South Australia and Victoria.
The system includes 800km of high pressure pipeline, compressor stations, pressure reduction, metering stations and multiple main line valves that transport approximately 50% of Adelaide’s natural gas needs.
An opportunity has arisen, to join the Sea Gas team as the Operations & HSE Assistant. This position will be offered on a part time fixed term contract, directly supporting the HSE Manager with compliance, risk and governance administrative processes.
To be successful in this role you must have high attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, great initiative and superior problem-solving skills. You will be self-motivated, results oriented and a team player with exceptional communication skills.
Skills and Experience:
High level written communication skills including excellent spelling and grammar, and the proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation
Advanced organisational skills with the proven ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks whilst also being able to readily adapt to changing priorities
Excellent computer skills including high level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong business acumen with high level of numeracy
Demonstrated experience in a similar operational business environment (preferred).
