About The Opportunity:

 

EGM Executive Search and Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with ARTC to secure a Payroll Systems Administrator.

 

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) plays a critical role in the transport supply chain and in the overall economic development of Australia.  They  manage and operate over 8500 kms of track in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland, making them one of Australia's largest rail network owners.  

 

About the The Role:

 

Reporting to the Manager Financial Systems, the Payroll Systems Administrator is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Empower Masterpay system and the Timefiler Time and Attendance System, whilst providing assistance to the Manager Financial Systems and the Payroll Manager. You will be involved with the development of new and improved business processes and data management. 

You will need a strong knowledge of systems, understanding of accounting, pay rates, classification and systems administration.
 

About You:

  • ​​Proven experience in payroll systems implementation and administration on a comparable business system.

  • Proven experience with management/application of multiple, complex EBAs; EAs and awards in a payroll and time & attendance environment.Similar experience in a large commercial organisation.

  • Advanced Crystal report writing skills would be great and exposure to Power BI would help in the future

  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.Ability to work individually as well as in a team and contribute to team culture.

  • Be a self-starter and possess excellent problem-solving skills.Have strong project implementation skills and report writing skills

  • Knowledge of processing requirements of computerised payroll and time and attendance packages.
